Cozy queen room, beautiful views, we enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub after a day exploring the area and had cocktails on the terrace while watching the sunset above the Mississippi River.

No complaints.

My stay at Chestnut Mountain Resort was quite enjoyable. The views from my room overlooking the Mississippi River were stunning, providing a serene backdrop for my business trip. The staff were efficient in assisting with my requests, and the meeting facilities were well-equipped, ensuring my presentations went smoothly. Additionally, I appreciated the on-site dining options, especially the breakfast with fresh fruit offerings.

One downside was the lack of elevators, making it a bit cumbersome with luggage.

chestnut mountain resort is very well kept, with lots to do right by the river, even in summer. the staff, especially rose and vanessa, were incredibly friendly and helpful during our dinners and breakfasts, making our stay enjoyable. the serene surroundings and calming paths added to the experience, especially the beautiful sunset views.

The breathtaking views from the dining area really enhanced our meals. The outdoor activities, like the sky train and alpine slide, provided a lot of fun and memorable experiences.

Had a beautiful room with a amazing view of the river, like a painting. The staff was attentive, fixed my air conditioning issue fast, and I was in a new room overlooking the mountains almost immediately.

It wasn’t exactly cheap either, but you get what you pay for.

The only eatery available had slow food service, and my meal was disappointingly prepared. Breakfast was just mediocre. Décor in the rooms felt outdated, especially in the bathroom. The room lacked space, and the small bathroom made it less comfortable. Visitors should note the lack of an elevator, which made lugging luggage a hassle. Despite these issues, the views and the variety of activities made my stay enjoyable overall.

The Summit has some stunning views, especially from the terrace during meals. The alpine slide was a thrill, and the atmosphere was perfect for a group of friends looking to kick back and get adventurous. Can't forget the fresh fruit, which was a nice touch at breakfast!

Dining left a bit to be desired. The burger was well done instead of medium rare, and the breakfast buffet could definitely use some love. the bacon crumbled apart and the hash browns were barely warm. Plus, the no elevator situation really had us feeling those extra steps with luggage!

I was blown away by the fine views of the Mississippi River, especially during sunset from our outdoor dining spot! The indoor pool was open until midnight Plus, the alpine slide and zipline were thrilling and added an adventurous touch to our stay!
